BCLI Response to Ministry of Finance Society Act Review Consultation

The British Columbia Law Institute has submitted a response to the consultation for the review of the Society Act being carried out by the Ministry of Finance. The response affirms the conclusions of the BCLI’s 2008 Report on Proposals for a New Society Act, noting particularly that the time has come to move on reform of the Society Act. The response also contains discussion of the two issues for reform highlighted by the ministry.
