Parentage committee considers legislation allowing multiple parents for children conceived by sexual intercourse

BCLI’s Parentage Law Reform Project Committee continued its review of the rules in part 3 of the Family Law Act that apply to parentage of children conceived by sexual intercourse. CCEL Brief to the House of Commons Standing Committee on the Status of Women

The House of Commons Standing Committee on the Status of Women is currently conducting a study on intimate and domestic violence in Canada. The CCEL submitted a brief to the committee discussing the unique barriers older women face and outlining the complex support needs of older women.
